Now that we've started things off right and proper, the real question is "So you want to be a writer?" I guess it's not really a question, but a statement. I want to be writer. More to the point, I want to be a storyteller.
What's the difference between them you, you ask as the wind gently whispers in your ear? Well, a storyteller isn't limited to a single medium. I'm sure you are already a storyteller. Do you tell your friends or your family what you did today? Do you make films or do you paint or draw? Stories come in all shapes and forms.
